“Now, dearest, you have to promise me that you’ll be careful tonight.” Natalie ran a hand over Luther’s cheek before squeezing Tyrone’s hand. “Both of you.”

“We’ll be fine, Mom,” Luther said. “We got mad leech killing skills, you know that.”

“It doesn’t mean I’m not going to be worried about my boys. And we don’t want you smoking pot at this party. Do you understand? Jim, tell them.” She turned to Jim who was standing in the kitchen of Will and Hannah’s apartment.

“No pot smoking. If we smell even a hint of weed on you, you’re both out of the program. I don’t care what Jordan or the Board says. Do you hear me?”

“Yes, Sir,” Tyrone said. “We haven’t smoked since…”

He glanced at Natalie who patted his cheek and kissed him on the forehead. “I love you both. Be careful.”

Hannah came out of the bedroom carrying Gavin. She handed the baby to Natalie and kissed her cheek. “Thanks again, Mom. We’ll be home before sunrise.”

“Have fun killing vampires, dearest.” Natalie crossed the room to Jim and hooked her arm around his waist. “Love you, be careful please.”

“We will.” Hannah, her swords at her hips, followed the twins out of the apartment.
